For your "cheep" gun I love it, it shoots fantastic and Sako Quad Range .22 LR availability is quite accurate. I'd endorse them if your investigating a budget gun. Also After i was investigating scopes I used to be basically set to the $two hundred limit on my scope for that gun and I discovered that in that price range the Nikons seemed to be nicer then the Leupold's.
